Some firewalls also allow you to block outgoing connections, but the built-in firewalls on Mac and Windows don’t work in this way. If you want a firewall that will allow you to choose which programs get to connect to the Internet or not, look elsewhere. Connection Blocking settings apply to the incoming and the outgoing connections that use a specific application, service, port, or IP address. Hey guys! I'm consider buying a second hand Apple TV 3 to stream MUTV content(Manchester United TV). The MUTV app got released earlier in July. In the Manchester United site says it's available for download on Apple TV. So that means 4th gen and 4k Apple TV systems. My question is will it be available on Apple TV 3? Or is it already available? In theory ATV3 should get any new streaming app that comes on the newer models. A recent example is the addition of Amazon Prime. So since I'll be using the Apple TV 3 for the MUTV app and the upcoming F1 TV app(Formula One TV app), I really need to know if this older gen platform will get the upcoming apps or not. The F1 app is still on the works, but the MUTV app is already availabe on Apple TV 4 since July, so a simple check from any user of the Apple TV 3 would answer my question.
Terminal is an invaluable tool that every Mac user should explore. In the past published a number of OS X Terminal tutorials to help improve your workflows and general productivity. Though for some Mac users Terminal isn't equipped enough for their needs and these people often seek other solutions which can achieve a similar result. Once click on that, just type “Terminal” in the search field and the Terminal window option will come on top. Click on it to open the program and now you can write down the unix commands for installing the program, etc. Terminal app can be daunting at first, but it’s really the best way to hack into your Mac’s configurations and preferences to customize things to work for you rather than against you.
Siri is one of these features that feels like a broken promise. Not only it hasn’t evolved that much over the years, but it’s also not that much more reliable than it was when it was first introduced back in 2011.
Luckily, most major TV manufacturers have remote control apps for their HDTVs, which makes it easy to control the volume, change the channel and switch inputs. One major exception is Vizio. They have a SmartCast app, but it only works with a SmartCast HDTV, which they are starting to sell in 2016. SmartCast is actually two separate systems of apps, controlled from the phone it’s just an integrated version of Google ChromeCast, on the TV itself (launched from the SmartCast menu) it’s actually Vizio’s new HTML based smart TV apps.
